MONTRÉAL – The entire Astral team says its proudly taking part in the 12th edition of the Media's Big Food Drive to be held Thursday, December 6, 2012.
Many of its employees, television and radio hosts will be collecting cash and non-perishable food donations at three collection points in the streets of Montréal from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. at:
- Maison Astral (McGill College Avenue between Sherbrooke and Cathcart);
- MusiquePlus and MusiMax (on the corner of St. Catherine West and de Bleury);
- Astral Radio (on the corner of Papineau and René-Lévesque East where the NRJ 94.3, 107,3 Rouge fm, Virgin Radio 96, CJAD 800, and CHOM 97 7 stations are located).
“The whole team at Astral is pleased to join forces once again this year and participate in this great tradition that has become the Media's Big Food Drive,” said Derev Antikacioglu, Corporate Branding and Marketing Director at Astral Media Inc. “Hunger continues to plague Québec, which is why we are getting together to invite our numerous listeners, viewers, and partners to be generous and support our food banks. These banks are doing vital work by helping hundreds of thousands of people every month—more than a third of them are children. Give generously!”
With the theme The Chefs, this year's campaign is supported by chef spokespersons Patrice Demers, Anne Desjardins, Stefano Faita, Martin Juneau, Ricardo Larrivée, Bob le Chef, Marie-Chantal Lepage, Louis-François Marcotte, and Marie-Fleur St-Pierre.
