Astral media to rep two L.A. Radio Group stations in Alberta

TORONTO - Astral Media Radio Sales will represent the two L.A. Radio Group stations located in Lacombe and Red Deer, Alberta. The L.A. Radio Group is owned by Albertans Troy Stevens and Sonia Sawyer. The agreement includes the current Lacombe station, Sunny 94 (CJUV-FM), and the new radio station license in Red Deer (CKIK-FM) which will operate at 101.3 MHz and launch July 24, 2009. Serving central Alberta, Sunny 94 is a classic hits station targeting adults 25-54, and plans to boost its power on July 1 from 9,500 watts to 51,000 watts.
