Asper resigns from Blue Bombers board after on-field, locker room outbursts

WINNIPEG – CanWest Global executive vice-president David Asper has resigned his seat on the board of the Canadian Football League’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Winnipeg Sun has reported today. After the team’s latest game Asper, a long time Bomber supporter and board member, confronted players and coaches on the field, visibly angry the team had lost to Saskatchewan and was all but eliminated from the playoffs, says the Sun’s report.
