Asia will continue to dominate worldwide pay TV, says In-Stat

ASIA NOW comprises over half of the world’s pay TV subscribers, and according to In-Stat, this trend will continue for at least the next four years.In its report 4Q09 PayTV Subscribers Summary, the market research firm says that while IPTV grew faster than cable and satellite in the fourth quarter of 2009, consistent growth is expected for all pay TV platforms over the next five years.
