Corus rebrands another news-talk station

EDMONTON – As of 3:00 PM MT on Tuesday, Corus-owned news station CHQT-AM (iNews 880) will rebrand under the name Global News Radio 880 Edmonton.The move comes as part of Corus’ on-going efforts to rename its news-talk stations using its Global TV’s news branding.The official launch event can be seen on Facebook live at 2:45 PM MT, hosted by Global Edmonton anchor Gord Steinke.
