
Indigenous broadcaster APTN announced Tuesday the premiere dates for its fall programming, which includes returning favourites and the Canadian linear TV premiere of FX’s comedy series Reservation Dogs.
Heartfelt series returning this autumn include Wild Rose Vets (Season 2), which premieres on APTN in English on Sept. 1 and on the APTN Languages channel in Cree on Sept. 3, with same-day streaming on APTN lumi. In addition, the third season of documentary series Little Big Community will premiere on APTN in English on Sept. 1 and will be available to stream the same day on APTN lumi.
On Sept. 2, APTN will present the Canadian linear TV debut of the first season of Reservation Dogs, a 2021-2023 half-hour comedy series from FX that previously could only be streamed in Canada on services such as Bell’s Crave, Disney+ and CBC Gem. The series follows the exploits of four indigenous teenagers in rural Oklahoma, where it was filmed. APTN will premiere the second season of this award-winning series on Oct. 28, with the Emmy-nominated third season set to debut in January 2026.
APTN’s fall lineup also includes some chills and thrills for viewers. Season 2 of Horse Warriors, which follows three teams competing on the summer Indian Relay racing circuit, will premiere on APTN Languages in Blackfoot on Sept. 1 and on APTN in English on Sept. 4, and will stream on APTN lumi.
Later in the fall, the fourth season of Ghost Hunters of the Grand River will premiere on APTN in English on Oct. 22, and the tenth and final season of paranormal investigation series The Other Side will also debut on Oct. 22. Both series will be available to stream the same day on APTN lumi.
In honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, APTN will broadcast the live special Remembering the Children on Sept. 30. It will air in English and French on APTN and in Plains Cree on APTN Languages, and will be available to stream on APTN lumi on Oct. 2. In addition, the APTN and CBC documentary The Good Canadian will air on APTN in English on Sept. 30 and be available to stream the same day on APTN lumi.
