APTN to fund videos of Aboriginal musicians

WINNIPEG – Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) is offering to foot the bill to produce a music video for a song featured on a CD for up to five established Canadian Aboriginal musicians or musical groups. The program dubbed APTN Open Call will provide a maximum of $20,000 toward the music video, which must be filmed in the summer or fall of 2007. A copy of the soundtrack to which groups want to create a video must be submitted with the application form available at www.aptn.ca/opencall2007.
