APTN recognized as one of Manitoba’s top employers

WINNINPEG – Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) has been recognized as one of the top 25 employers in Manitoba for the third straight year.

The announcement was part of the annual Canada’s Top Employers survey done by Toronto-based Mediacorp Canada Inc.  APTN was one of 25 organizations recognized in the annual survey of Manitoba businesses, which looked at employers of any size, in the private or public sector, with their head offices or principal places of business in the province.

“We are pleased and very honoured to once again receive this esteemed recognition,” said CEO Jean LaRose, in a statement. “APTN has always placed a high emphasis on the welfare and professional development of our employees and have in turn experienced the benefits of a loyal, dedicated workforce who so passionately share the network’s vision with our dedicated viewers from all across Canada.”

With its headquarters in Winnipeg, APTN employs approximately 130 people in 11 regional offices across Canada.
