TORONTO – Friday is the deadline for CTAM Canada members to apply for the first course under the new the Canadian CTAM University Program.
Offered through the Schulich School of Business (Executive Education Centre), part of Toronto’s York University, the course will focus on strategic pricing and profitability, including:
– The theory behind value-based pricing;
– How to use value-based pricing to establish the optimal price for new and existing products and services;
– How to become a more effective competitive pricer; and
– How to make more systematic pricing decisions.
Open to and applicable to both cable and programming marketing professionals, this course is geared towards the marketing manager who is responsible for pricing and promotion and wants to ensure that key pricing decisions generate the desired results – both from market acceptance and profitability.
The course costs $325 per attendee (which includes HST, course material and lunch), and is limited to the first 25 participants. All applicants must be a CTAM Canada member in good standing, and will be notified of acceptance via email on October 18.
