Apple rumoured to be launching TV on iTunes

NEW YORK – Apple may be testing the waters on a new monthly TV subscription service that would deliver programming via its multimedia software.According to a story on the Wall Street Journal’s blog, the company is shopping around an extension of its iTunes software and store. It is proposing a rate of $30 per month for the new ‘over the top’ service, if it can get enough buy-in from U.S. broadcast and cable TV programmers.Click here to read the full story.
