Apple Canada demands Ingram to stop selling used iPhones to Wind Mobile, says report

TORONTO — Apple Canada has told tech distributor Ingram Micro to stop selling refurbished iPhones in Canada, after Ingram had done so as part of a recent deal to supply the devices to Wind Mobile, The Globe and Mail reported on Tuesday.According to the Globe article, Wind sourced refurbished iPhone 5c and 5s models from Ingram, and began selling them directly to its wireless customers in June.Apple Canada is arguing that Ingram’s selling of the used iPhones is a breach of the distributor’s contract with Apple’s Canadian subsidiary, according to the Globe.www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business
