Another UBF project will connect 756 households in Halton

HALTON REGION – Today, the federal government announced $441,200 in funding will go to Bell Canada to help bring high-speed Internet to rural Ontario residents. Bell will contribute $1,286,200 toward this project that will connect 756 underserved households to high-speed Internet in the southern Ontario communities of Ashgrove, Campbellville, Carlisle, Cedar Springs, Freelton, Hornby, Morriston, Waterdown and other areas just outside Milton. The project is part of the rapid response stream of the government’s $1.75-billion Universal Broadband Fund.
