Another rural broadband program announcement coming Thursday

IQALUIT - The federal government is set to announce another major project under the rural broadband program Connect to Innovate Thursday, this time in Nunavut.Innovation, Science and Economic Development Minister Navdeep Bains is scheduled to make the announcement Thursday at 2:00 PM at Iqaluit Centennial Library.The Federal Government has pledged to invest $500 million by 2021 to bring access to high-speed Internet to 300 rural and remote communities across Canada under the program.
