TORONTO – Production has wrapped for season of Accessible Media Inc.’s cornerstone program, Accessibility in Action, and will air this September, the network announced today.
Airing weekly on AMI-tv and hosted by Gemini award-winning broadcaster Joanne Smith, Accessibility in Action features guests who share inspirational stories about overcoming tremendous adversities and explores topics rarely discussed when talking about disabilities.
“Inclusion is extremely important to AMI as an organization, and it’s one of our corporate core values,” said Brian Perdue, director of programming for AMI-tv, in a release. “AIA is about acceptance and it reinforces that people can accomplish anything if they put their mind to it, despite their personal challenges and differences.”
Accessibility in Action is produced by Pyman Productions from their fully accessible broadcast centre in Mississauga. The company’s association with the program was the inspiration behind the design of the completely accessible facility.
The third season of Accessibility in Action premieres Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. on AMI-tv.
