Amazon Studios signs on for ‘Utopia’ reboot, led by ‘Gone Girl’ writer Gillian Flynn

SEATTLE – Amazon Studios has inked an overall deal with Gillian Flynn, the author and screenwriter of Golden Globe nominated Gone Girl, with the first project being a straight-to-series order for her version of the British conspiracy thriller Utopia.The nine-episode drama series will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories, including Canada.
