Amazon Prime Video launches in Canada – and more than 200 other places

SEATTLE – Amazon Prime Video officially arrived in Canada on Wednesday as part of a larger expansion making the global video streaming service available in more than 200 countries, proving Bell Media president Mary Ann Turcke correct, if just off by a couple of weeks.Cartt.ca has been predicting a 2017 launch of the service in Canada for some time, as well.The service is included at no additional cost to Canadians with an annual membership to Amazon Prime, which offers free expedited shipping on select items from the massive e-retailer.  According to the company’s website, a one year standalone membership is available...
