Amazon and Intel latest supporters of LoRaWAN standard for low-power networks


FREMONT, CA — Industry support continues to grow for the LoRa Alliance’s open LoRaWAN standard for the Internet of Things (IOT) low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs), with Amazon and Intel among the most recent companies to join the alliance.In a news release Tuesday, the LoRa Alliance said it continues to see its membership grow across the globe from companies involved in the IoT from chip to cloud, which strengthens the diversity of its member ecosystem.
