OTTAWA – CPAC’s new weekly international affairs program hosted by veteran journalist and ex-CBCer Alison Smith (pictured) is set to debut on Sunday.
With contributions from the field and expert analysis, Perspective with Alison Smith will break down the most relevant global issues of the day to better understand Canada’s role in the world – and how the world sees us.
The show will premier November 20 at 10:30 AM ET/7:30 AM PT, with encore presentations at 12:00 PM ET/9:00 AM PT and 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT. Like all CPAC programming, Perspective with Alison Smith will be available commercial-free and in both official languages on TV, online at www.cpac.ca and on the CPAC TV 2 Go app.
“We are thrilled to welcome Alison Smith to CPAC for this novel and thought-provoking new program,” said CPAC president and GM Catherine Cano, in the news release. “As one of Canada’s best known and most respected journalists, Alison is ideally suited to navigate us each week through the complex, multidimensional realm of international affairs.”
