HALIFAX – Stepping up the competition, Bell Aliant, has launched new calling plans for Atlantic Canada.
They provide Aliant Mobility clients, for a limited time, unlimited local calls to and from any Aliant mobile phone and any Aliant home telephone, a first in Atlantic Canada, the company said in a statement.
“Our clients told us they want easy and affordable calling plans that enable them to stay connected with friends and family,” says Shirley Fullerton, director of wireless marketing. “Since most customers in Atlantic Canada choose Aliant for both their cellular and their home phone service, these plans enable them to call to and from almost any home and cellular in the region without ever worrying about how many minutes they are using.”
The plans allow clients to make as many local calls to and from Aliant home and mobile phones as they want, anytime, day or night, anywhere in Atlantic Canada and they won’t use up any of the airtime minutes within the rate plans, it said. Normal long distance rates apply.
