Aliant injects $5 million more into its Nova Scotia network


HALIFAX – Eastern Canada’s incumbent telco, Aliant, today announced an injection of $5 million in its Nova Scotia broadband network and Aliant Hotspots. The announcement includes Aliant's planned expansion of high speed to customers in 24 communities across the province in early 2008. Aliant high speed will be available to 86.4% of Nova Scotia customers by the end of 2008. The overall investment in Nova Scotia's broadband network since 2005 surpasses $30 million.
