Aliant adds towns to high speed footprint


HALIFAX – As part of a $20 million investment in wireless service in Atlantic Canada, Aliant launched Aliant High-Speed Wireless service in more communities in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

The new service – part of a $20 million network investment – will provide Aliant customers access to unprecedented wireless data speeds – five times faster than what is currently available – and new and enhanced applications on their wireless device, says the press release.

Aliant High-Speed Wireless service is now available in Sydney; New Glasgow; Wolfville; Kentville; Coldbrook; the Truro to Halifax corridor; Florenceville; and Bathurst, NB

Aliant Customers in Halifax, NS; Saint John, Moncton, Fredericton, NB; Charlottetown, PEI and St. John’s, NL.
