Aldea Solutions acquires majority stake in Chile’s TVTel

MONTREAL — Canadian video services provider Aldea Solutions, a subsidiary of the Marcatel Group, announced yesterday it has acquired a majority holding in TVTel, a media production and delivery services company based in Santiago, Chile. With the acquisition, Aldea strengthens its presence in Latin America including Chile, where it has operated since 2020 providing transmission services for the country’s national soccer league through its subsidiary Aldea Chile SpA, says the company’s press release.
