Air Canada partners with Bell for in-flight Wi-Fi services

MONTREAL – Air Canada and Bell announced a multi-year deal Wednesday that will see the telecom provide the airline’s Aeroplan members free messaging on all Wi-Fi equipped aircraft starting May 15. “This offering will enable customers to send and receive text-based messages via onboard Wi-Fi using popular messaging apps including Apple's iMessage, Meta's WhatsApp and Messenger, Rakuten's Viber, and Messages by Google,” the companies said in a press release, adding the service will also be available to loyalty members of Air Canada partner airlines.
