Adara signs another cooperative for IP video delivery

QUEBEC CITY – A Quebec City-based telecom cooperative has signed on Adara Technologies to provide internet-based video solutions for the group’s members, a press release said Tuesday.

Adara’s myCatapulTVe product “enables broadband and cable service providers to add ‘TV Everywhere’ services seamlessly to their networks and/or to migrate quickly and efficiently to app-based streaming Pay TV services,” the release said.

The Federation des Cooperatives de Cablodistribution et de Telecommunication du Quebec represents 22 cable and telecommunications co-operatives and non-profit organizations throughout Quebec, serving roughly 75,000 customers.

Adara only last month was chosen to provide the Winnipeg-based coop federation Arctic Co-operatives with its video product.
