ACTRA expresses disappointment again over Status of Ontario’s Artists Act

TORONTO – The Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists Toronto (ACTRA Toronto) on Friday once again expressed its disappointment with the Status of Ontario’s Artists Act. The Act was passed Friday as part of an Ontario government budget package. “The government of Ontario failed artists with this Bill. This Act does nothing to alleviate the difficult financial and working conditions of artists,” said ACTRA Toronto President Karl Pruner.
