ACTRA appoints new senior legal counsel

TORONTO — National performers union ACTRA today announced Darryl Kyte has been appointed as senior legal counsel for ACTRA National, effective immediately. Kyte will report to Marie Kelly, ACTRA’s national executive director and chief negotiator, and will support ACTRA’s objective of improving the working lives of Canadian professional performers, says the news release. His entertainment industry experience includes representing performers, musicians, producers, advertisers, production companies, professional athletes, literary writers and publishers.
