ACTRA, ACA and ICA began to renegotiate new commercial agreement

TORONTO – The Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA) and the Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA) on Tuesday began renegotiating their National Commercial Agreement. ACTRA and the two other organizations will meet in Toronto for three days a month from January to April 2008 to try to put in place a new agreement. The parties will use an Internet-based bargaining approach to hold a series of non-binding and without prejudice discussions, it was stated in a media release.
