AccessNow TV to air Regina mayoral candidates debate


REGINA — Access Communications Co-operative today announced a Decision 2020 live, two-hour debate among Regina’s mayoral candidates will air on AccessNow TV and stream online on November 2.

Hosted by the Regina and District Chamber of Commerce, the Decision 2020 debate will be moderated by Chamber CEO John Hopkins, who will ask a series of questions which every candidate will have the opportunity to answer. Each candidate will also get to ask a question to one of their fellow candidates.

“Access believes our communities are at their best when voters are engaged in local politics,” said Tracey Mucha, community programming manager at Access Communications, in a press release. “Our friends at the Regina Chamber are providing the people of Regina an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and stay informed on the issues that matter most.”

Decision 2020: Civic Election Debate will air on Monday, November 2 at 6:00 p.m. local time (Central Standard Time) on AccessNow TV in Regina and surrounding areas as well as online at www.myaccess.ca/decision2020. All local media outlets are invited to attend and will have an opportunity for interviews with the candidates following the debate.

Access Communications is a co-sponsor of the debate. The election is November 9th.
