AccessNow TV to air Regina Humane Society telethon on March 14

REGINA — The 33rd Annual Regina Humane Society Telethon is set to air on AccessNow TV on Sunday, March 14, Access Communications Co-operative announced today.

Hosted at AccessNow TV’s studios in Regina, the three-hour show (airing from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. CST) is a major annual fundraiser for the Regina Humane Society (RHS). The telethon will feature behind-the-scenes looks at RHS programs and services and the life-changing stories of animals who have benefited from them. Pets still waiting for adoption will star in the show, accompanied by hosts including country performer Chris Henderson, perennial favourite Rory Allen, and other local media personalities.

The Regina Humane Society Telethon will air Sunday on AccessNow TV’s high-definition channel 507 and standard-definition channel 7, and will also be live streamed at www.myaccess.ca/accessnow/live.

“The past year has been a challenge for our fundraising efforts,” added Deanne Guest, director of development at the RHS “With many of our events cancelled, the success of the Telethon has become even more important to our ability to help animals.”
