Access upgrades Martensville

MARTENSVILLE, SK – Access Communications customers in Martensville, a community of about 9,600 just north of Saskatoon, saw their cable and broadband company recently expand its services.

Access Communications, a community-owned co-operative, announced Monday that its Access Internet service has launched in the town, with download speeds up to 100 Mbps.

The company’s new expanded TV service is also now available in Martensville. New set-top boxes are the gateway to enhanced entertainment services including: 100% digital picture and sound, an advanced interactive program guide, and expanded channel line-up with over 100 new channels and services including premium sports services. Customers can stream their favourite TV shows and movies – anytime, anywhere with AccessTV ToGo.

“We recognize that rural residents and businesses in Saskatchewan need access to quality Internet and TV.” said Chad Cunningham, marketing manager for Access, in the press release. “That is why we are currently upgrading our systems and infrastructure now in over 60 communities in rural Saskatchewan in order to bring faster Internet, and enhanced TV services to more of our customers.”
