REGINA – Access Communications is awarding $20,000 in scholarships to select Grade 12 graduates who demonstrate exemplary community involvement as well as academic achievement.

The Access Communications Scholarship Program will bestow $1000 scholarships to 20 graduates of high schools located in communities served by Access Communication Co-operative.  The Awards Committee will consider students’ contribution to community first and foremost when considering winners.  More information on the application process is available here.

“At Access, we value our place in the communities we serve,” said president and CEO Jim Deane, in the news release. “We’re proud to celebrate and reward young people across the province who make positive contributions to their hometowns.”

In addition to the Access Scholarship Program, scholarships are also awarded each year to students enrolled at the University of Regina through the Access Communications/Fred Wagman Scholarship in Film & Video.
