Access raises $57K for Regina Humane Society

REGINA – Access Communications helped to raise over $57,000 for the Regina Humane Society on Sunday.The "You've Got a Friend" telethon, which aired on its community channel Access7, has raised over $550,000 to support the work of the animal shelter over the last 22 years.“The hard work and dedication of staff and volunteers made this year’s telethon an overwhelming success”, said John Kennedy, manager of community programming for Access, in the announcement. “We exceeded our goal of $50,000 and raised over $57,000 in pledges.
