REGINA – Access Communications has served up its 25th traditional holiday meal in support of the Salvation Army.
What started as a small event by a group of dedicated employees 25 years ago has now grown into a several hundred person event, says the company. The annual fundraising luncheon has helped to raise over $100,000 to support local families in need.
“Doing good in the lives of Saskatchewan’s people, especially those struggling, is a year-round job our staff are always eager to be a part of,” said Access president and CEO Jim Deane, pictured left. “The dinner has become a favourite event for many in the business community — and a great way to share some holiday fellowship with other leaders in the community, while supporting those in need.”
Access Communications is a Saskatchewan-owned not-for-profit co-operative that reinvests 100% of its earnings into the over the 230 Saskatchewan communities and rural areas it serves.
