
REGINA – Access Communications said today it has completed the first phase of a province-wide upgrade to its network, now delivering internet download speeds as fast as 450 Mbps to customers in 25 communities across the province.
Using a phased approach, Access Communications will deliver download speeds of 450 Mbps to over 70 communities in which it operates altogether by mid-2021. These network upgrades enable not only faster speeds – they also ensure more reliable service delivery, preparing homes for upcoming next-generation video products, the company’s statement explained.
The first phase of upgraded internet offerings include: Biggar, Canora, Dalmeny, Delisle, Esterhazy, Foam Lake, Fort Qu’Appelle, Humboldt, Indian Head, Kamsack, Kindersley, La Ronge, Air Ronge, Lumsden, Maidstone, Maple Creek, Meadow Lake, Moosomin, Nipawin, Rosetown, Rosthern, Tisdale, Unity, Watrous, and Wynyard.
