
REGINA — Access Communications Co-operative announced today its annual Labour Day Show N Shine fundraising event saw a record-breaking turnout, with more than 600 exhibitors and over 4,000 spectators helping to raise $41,263 for the Regina Food Bank this year.
The annual event is hosted by Access Communications and the Collectors Car Club of Saskatchewan, along with title sponsor CAA Saskatchewan, and “brings together collectible car and motorcycle enthusiasts with community businesses to support the Regina Food Bank’s fight against food insecurity in Regina,” explains a press release.
The fundraising tally for the 14th Annual Labour Day Show N Shine was the event’s largest total ever, according to the release.
“We couldn’t be more grateful to the community for the incredible turnout,” said Jim Deane, CEO of Access Communications, in the release. “This was a special show, and we’re in awe of the outpouring of support from car enthusiasts, guests and our sponsors alike that led to our record-breaking results.”
