Access adds Concert TV, kicks off new ‘Dining With The Stars’ series

REGINA – Access Communications has added Concert TV to its list of on-demand programming available in Regina, Estevan, Weyburn and select surrounding communities.

The music video service, owned by Stingray Digital, allows customers to view free concert samples and order full length concerts featuring well-known bands and artists.

In other company news, community channel Access7 has launched a new series called Dining With The Stars that brings together local celebrities, organic producers and top chefs.  The 13-episode series airs Sunday’s at 7:30 pm and follows Saskatchewan-grown organic food on the journey from the farm gate to the dinner plate – in fine style.

Hosted by a local celebrity, the show profiles a Saskatchewan-based organic farmer who donates food to a local restaurant, where chefs prepare a gourmet menu as part of a special event for 12 to 24 people.  Filming for the series began in August 2010 and ran through March 2011.

“The Access7 community channel gives us a unique platform to tell stories about the people and places that make Saskatchewan great,” said Access CEO Jim Deane, in the announcement.  “We’re delighted to be a part of the Dining with the Stars project and we invite everyone to tune in and meet some of those people.”
