A Free communications director

TORONTO - Gabrielle Free has been hired as director of communication for CHUM Television's music and youth services. She starts today.Free (left) will oversee all communication strategy and publicity activities for MuchMusic, MuchMoreMusic, MuchVibe, MuchLoud, MuchMoreRetro, Razer and PunchMuch. Free began her career at the Toronto International Film Festival Group where she was director of communications. She has also worked as a freelance publicist at YTV, the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, Festival Film Jakmel, Floating Film Festival, and the Ontario Media Development Corporation, among others.
