HALIFAX – EastLink announced today that it will make 42 channels available free of charge to its digital customers through the month of February.
From January 31 at 5 p.m. to March 1 at 8 a.m., the exclusive free preview will provide 42 specialty channels to EastLink Digital Cable customers to view at no additional charge. The independent MSO and its programming partners say the initiative will give EastLink digital customers the opportunity to sample original programming offered by some of the most popular digital cable channels available.
“The Fantastic February FREEview is an exclusive EastLink initiative to provide our Digital Cable customers with an opportunity to sample the diverse and exciting programs available through EastLink Digital Cable,” said Ian Lezama, director of marketing, in a release.
The free preview will provide programming from Canadian media companies such as Alliance Atlantis Communications, CanWest MediaWorks and Corus Entertainment. Programming highlights include sports, health, movies, news, lifestyle, science, and history.
