Stingray announced Wednesday it has partnered with Los Angeles-based smart TV manufacturer Telly to make its Stingray Karaoke and Stingray Streams apps available for free on Telly’s 4K dual-screen smart TVs in the United States.
Stingray Karaoke features 100,000 licensed songs to sing along to, in popular genres including pop, rock, country, R&B, hip-hop, Disney and more. Stingray Streams offers access to a wide array of curated content, including music, concerts and wellness channels.
“Combined with Telly’s premium room-blasting soundbar, customizable ambient lighting and 55-inch 4K display, Stingray delivers an immersive experience designed for family nights, parties and everyday entertainment,” says a Stingray press release.
Telly’s dual-screen smart TVs combine a 55-inch 4K HDR main TV screen with a second smart screen that displays ads, as well as news, sports scores, weather, stock information and more. Telly distributes its ad-supported smart TVs directly to U.S. customers for free.
“We are thrilled to partner with Telly to deliver our world-class music services to a rapidly growing and engaged audience,” Jim Riley, president of Stingray Music USA, said in the press release. “Telly’s disruptive model is reshaping how consumers access entertainment and our integration offers users new ways to enjoy music, sing karaoke, and connect with audio content they love. This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to bring the joy of music to everyone, everywhere.”
“We built Telly on a simple belief: the biggest screen in the home should be much more than just a television,” Neal Tiles, head of partnerships at Telly, said in a statement. “Whether it’s live sports, gaming, music, fitness, video calling or now karaoke, we’re reimagining the television as the centerpiece for shared experiences. Everything needed to turn family night into karaoke night is already built into the smartest TV ever created.”
