
Rogers Sports and Media on Tuesday announced its 2026-27 slate of new and returning programming across its specialty channels HGTV, Food Network, Discovery and Bravo.
HGTV’s lineup includes the first fruits of Rogers Sports and Media’s previously announced exclusive production deal with home renovation experts Bryan and Sarah Baeumler. Announced Tuesday, the Baeumlers will produce and star in two new Canadian original series for HGTV — Baeumler Ranch (working title) and Sarah Baeumler by Design — as well as host HGTV’s new Canadian original Home Town Takeover Canada series going into production later this month.
Other new shows coming to HGTV in 2026-27 include A Very Haunted Renovation, Big Bargain Holiday Showdown and Botched Homes. Series returning to HGTV with new seasons include House Hunters, Sin City Rehab, My Lottery Dream Home and Scariest House in America.
Food Network is set to premiere a new Canadian original series, Restaurant Impossible: Last Call, on July 23. The series follows acclaimed chef Aaron Sanchez and Canadian restaurateur Jen Agg as they lead the charge to rescue struggling restaurants across North America. In addition, starting this fall, Food Network will serve up new seasons of Halloween Baking Championship, Holiday Baking Championship, Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown, Halloween Wars and Tournament of Champions: All-Star Christmas.
Coming to Discovery in January 2027 is the previously announced new Canadian series Deadliest Catch: Northern Edge. Other new series set to premiere on Discovery in 2026-27 include Alaska Frontier Rookies, Rescue 911 and How It Works. In addition, Expedition X, Gold Rush, Moonshiners and In the Eye of the Storm will return with new seasons. The annual summer programming event “Shark Week” returns for its 38th year starting Sunday, July 26.
Bravo’s slate of acquired reality TV programming includes new titles Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas and Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives (working title), and new seasons of The Real Housewives of New York City, Below Deck, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Southern Charm and The Real Housewives of Potomac.
“We continue to expand our offering from these highly sought-after brands — reinforcing Rogers commitment to delivering premier entertainment to Canadians,” Hayden Mindell, senior vice president of television and radio at Rogers Sports and Media, said in a Tuesday press release. “Across our specialty portfolio, we’re investing in standout content that resonates with audiences, from fan-favourite reality and true crime to acclaimed dramas and comedies that viewers can’t get enough of.”
