TV5 Québec Canada hires Louis Therrien-Galasso as senior director of marketing


TV5 Québec Canada announced Tuesday the appointment of Louis Therrien-Galasso as its senior director of marketing and communications.

Therrien-Galasso brings more than 15 years of experience in the media industry, having held key roles in marketing, partnerships and management for several broadcasters, including ARTV, CBC/Radio-Canada, Groupe TVA and Bell Media. After most recently serving as director of programming, marketing and sales at the Centre culturel de l’Université de Sherbrooke, he is now returning to the media sector by joining TV5 Québec Canada.

In his new role, Therrien-Galasso will oversee the marketing, communications and sales teams at TV5 Québec Canada, with a mandate to strengthen the visibility of the group’s brands, content and platforms, as well as accelerate its digital transformation and maximize the reach and revenues of its platforms.

A communications graduate from the Université du Québec à Montréal, Therrien-Galasso is known for his mobilizing leadership skills and strategic vision, according to TV5 Québec Canada’s announcement. During his career in media, he has led repositioning, platform development and campaign initiatives for television, radio and digital brands, it said. While at the University of Sherbrooke’s Centre culturel, he helped to invigorate content and performance, it added.
