Rogers awards youth grants to organizations across Canada


Rogers announced last week the recipients of its 2025 Rogers Youth Grants, which range from $5,000 to $25,000 and are awarded to non-profit and charitable organizations across the country that provide educational and employment programs to youth aged from 12 to 29 years old.

“This year’s recipients were chosen for their commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of youth facing barriers,” Navdeep Bains, chief corporate affairs officer at Rogers, said in a Thursday press release. “From homework clubs and coding camps to job readiness and college prep programs, these community organizations will collectively provide critical job and skills training, education, and mentorship programs to help thousands of youth realize their potential.”

In western Canada, B.C.-based organizations receiving 2025 Rogers Youth Grants include Camosun College Foundation, Learning Disabilities Society of Greater Vancouver, Urban Spirit Foundation, and Young Entrepreneurs of Canada Association. Alberta-based grant recipients include Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association and CAREERS: The Next Generation (Edmonton). Also receiving 2025 youth grants are Saskatoon Open Door Society and Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre (Winnipeg).

In Ontario, Rogers youth grant recipients this year include Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa, CNIB Foundation, Let’s Talk Science, March of Dimes Canada, Mind Forward Brain Injury Services Ontario, Nuclear Innovation Institute, OCH Foundation for Healthy Communities, Shad Canada, Sikhs Serving Canada Association, Toronto Foundation for Student Success, Trust 15 Youth Community Support Organization, Visions of Science Network for Learning, and YouthLink.

Quebec-based youth grant recipients include Alloprof, L’Ancre des Jeunes, CyberCap, Éducaide, La Tablée des Chefs, and Technovation Montréal.

In Atlantic Canada, grant recipients this year include Community Centre Alliance Newfoundland and Labrador Inc., Inclusion New Brunswick, and Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador.

Rogers said since 2017 it has awarded more than $10 million cash and in-kind through youth granting programs, and more than $17 million in Ted Rogers Scholarships.
