Blue Ant’s HauntTV and Love Pets launch on Australia’s Foxtel

Blue Ant Media announced Tuesday it has expanded its partnership with Australia’s Foxtel with the launch of Love Pets and HauntTV as linear channels on Foxtel’s iQ4 and iQ5 set-top boxes (IP-only mode) and as video-on-demand services, which are now available to Foxtel’s subscribers.

Blue Ant made the announcement at the APOS media and entertainment summit being held this week in Bali.

The expanded deal with Foxtel adds to the natural history content Blue Ant provides to the Australian pay-TV broadcaster’s platform via the NatureTime brand.

“These recent launches have significantly expanded the reach of our curated pets and paranormal programming on Love Pets and HauntTV to Foxtel’s audience,” said Jon Penn, Blue Ant Media’s managing director for the Asia Pacific market, in a press release. “The channels and content included in this deal exemplify Blue Ant Media’s agility and solutions-based approach to offering great content for our partners across all platforms in the Asia Pacific region.”

Love Pets programming now available to Foxtel subscribers includes the six-episode series The Bizarre Pet VetsHope for Wildlife Seasons 1-10, and the 20-episode documentary series Work on the Wild Side.

HauntTV’s channel highlights on Foxtel include Hotel Paranormal (20 episodes x 60 minutes), Haunted Case Files (13 x 60), Eli Roth Presents: A Ghost Ruined my Life (16 x 60), and Scariest Night of my Life (13 x 60).
