Corus’s Global unveils 2025/26 programming slate

Corus Entertainment’s Global TV announced Monday its 2025/26 primetime lineup, which includes four new series this fall and three more set to join Global’s schedule mid-season.

The network’s new offerings this fall include the single-camera workplace comedy DMV, set at the U.S. Department of Motor Vehicles and starring Harriet Dyer, Tim Meadows, Tony Cavalero, Molly Kearney, Gigi Zumbado and Alex Tarrant. The series is produced by CBS Studios and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution. DMV is currently scheduled to air Mondays at 8:30 p.m. ET on Global.

Also joining Global’s Monday schedule, at 10 p.m. ET., is CIA, an expansion of the FBI franchise from Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf. CIA stars Tom Ellis as a fast-talking, rule-breaking loose cannon CIA case officer assigned to work with a by-the-book, seasoned FBI agent who believes in the rule of law. CIA is from Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Wolf Entertainment and CBS Studios, and is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

An expansion of the Fire Country universe, Sheriff Country is a new series starring Morena Baccarin as straight-shooting sheriff Mickey Fox, the stepsister of Cal Fire’s division chief Sharon Leone (Diane Farr of Fire Country). Scheduled to air on Global on Fridays at 8 p.m. ET, Sheriff Country is another CBS Studios-produced series distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

The fourth new series debuting on Global this fall is The Road, a singing competition series from executive producers Taylor Sheridan, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban. It follows a touring Urban on his journey to discover the next big artist with the help of Grammy Award-winning country artist Gretchen Wilson, who acts as the “tour manager”. Produced by MTV Entertainment and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution, The Road is set to air Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Global.
