UK-based CK Talent Management announced last month the opening of a Canadian division and the appointment of veteran Canadian entertainment executive Lowell Schrieder as division director.
Based in Toronto, the Canadian division of CK Talent Management “will focus on discovering, developing, and representing top-tier talent from across the country,” reads a CK Talent press release. “With Schrieder’s leadership and CK’s global network, this expansion promises to elevate Canadian talent to new heights in the entertainment industry and exposing their talents to the rest of the world.”
In addition to the UK and now Canada, CK Talent has operations and divisions in the U.S., Australia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Germany, Italy and Spain.
“We are thrilled to establish a presence in Canada and bring our expertise to one of the world’s most dynamic entertainment landscapes,” Craig Rogalski, CK Talent Management’s managing talent manager and founder, said in the press release. “Our Canadian division will provide a dedicated platform for Canadian talent to shine across theatre, film, television, and the ever-evolving social media space. With his unmatched experience and passion for promoting talent, Lowell Schrieder is the ideal leader to spearhead this initiative and be our Division Director and lead Talent Manager in Canada. His deep roots in the Canadian entertainment industry and proven track record align perfectly with CK’s mission of representing exceptional talent worldwide.”
Schrieder previously served as national director of marketing and communications for Paul Bronfman’s entertainment conglomerate Comweb Group and William F. White International, Canada’s largest provider of professional movie production equipment and studios. In 2018, he founded LSPR Inc., a boutique marketing and public relations agency based in Toronto, with offices in New York and Los Angeles. He also previously held marketing and communications roles at PS Production Services and CTV’s The Comedy Network.
