Ericsson and Concordia sign 10-year partnership for advanced comms research

Ericsson and Concordia University announced Monday a 10-year extension of their existing partnership, which seeks to drive research and education in the information and communications technology space. The research partnership that started in 2011 will see the two “develop cutting-edge education programs and research initiatives” at the Montreal university’s Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science. “Students will gain direct access to Ericsson's expertise and world-class facilities, while both organizations collaborate to drive innovation across key ICT areas, such as AI, cybersecurity, cloud and edge computing,” a press release said.
