Blue Ant Media announced Thursday the promotion of Carlyn Staudt to the newly created role of executive vice president of Global Channels and Brands.
Staudt, who is based in Washington D.C., has been the Toronto-based media company’s general manager of Love Nature since 2021, and her new role expands that portfolio to lead international channels including Declassified, HauntTV, Total Crime, Homeful, Drag Race Universe, Love Pets, and Love Drama.
“Carlyn’s expanded scope will focus on the continued growth of Blue Ant Media’s worldwide channel footprint across all platforms including FAST, SVOD, AVOD and Pay-TV,” a press release said.
“As Head of Commissioning for all of Blue Ant Media’s streaming and linear pay-tv channels in North America and internationally, Carlyn oversaw the commissioning and development of each content slate, in partnership with established and up-and-coming producers, and as well as international co-production partners,” the release added.
Prior to joining Blue Ant, Staudt held leadership roles at National Geographic.
