Telefilm Canada commits $4.9M in funding to 21 feature-length documentaries

Telefilm Canada announced last week an investment of $4.9 million in 21 feature-length documentaries under its Theatrical Documentary Program. The documentaries selected for funding include six titles from the French market and 15 titles from the English market. Eight of the documentaries are from Quebec-based production companies, while nine are from Ontario, three are from British Columbia, and one is from Newfoundland and Labrador.
