SaskTel announced Tuesday the launch of a new service designed to protect its internet customers from cyber threats.
Powered by F-Secure, Digital Security by SaskTel is an all-in-one application that provides users with security, privacy and identity protection on desktops, phones and tablets, a press release says.
Features of the service include antivirus protection, encrypted VPN, 24/7 dark web monitoring, password vault, parental controls and browsing protection that blocks malicious websites from collecting personal information.
“As an Internet service provider, we recognize that bad actors are continuously evolving their tactics and creating more sophisticated scams that are harder for users to identify,” Charlene Gavel, SaskTel president and CEO, said in the release. “Our new digital security service provides customers with an additional layer of protection that will help keep them and their families safe while they’re online at home or on the go.”
Digital Security by SaskTel is available now to all SaskTel internet and infiNET subscribers.
