Social media star Boman Martinez-Reid gets Crave series, dropping July 12


Canadian comedian, actor and social media star Boman Martinez-Reid (@bomanizer on TikTok), known for parodying reality TV in his comedy videos, is making the jump to television in a new six-episode Crave Original series, Made for TV with Boman Martinez-Reid, dropping in its entirety on Friday, July 12.

In the series, Martinez-Reid “embarks on a hilarious and slightly awkward quest for television fame as he explores various TV genres. With the guidance of real-life renowned celebrity advisors, he puts his skills to the test, hoping to discover the one that will propel him to television fame,” a Bell Media press release says.

The lineup of celebrity guests includes reality star and influencer Francesca Farago (Too Hot to Handle), celebrity chef Lynn Crawford and Audrey MacKinnon (Junior Chef Showdown), news anchors Nathan Downer (Toronto’s CTV News at Noon and CTV News at Six) and Sandie Rinaldo (CTV National News at 5:30), Toronto Raptors broadcaster Jack Armstrong, former Canadian NBA star Jamaal Magloire, Canadian basketball coach Tamara Tatham, renowned drag queens Priyanka and Lemon, and The Real Housewives of Potomac star Ashley Darby.

Executive produced by Martinez-Reid, Made for TV with Boman Martinez-Reid was created by award-winning Canadian comedian Natalie Metcalfe and is produced by Toronto-based Alibi Entertainment in association with Bell Media’s Crave. Other executive producers include Metcalfe, Alibi Entertainment president James Hyslop and Alibi vice-president Jo Virgo.

Bell Media is the international distributor of the series.
